Here we are at 23w5d, and I'm still having a difficult time grasping that I am having a baby in the next few months. I mean, physically I feel it -- the peeing all the time, the little flutters here and there, and my stomach feeling like I have a volleyball in there. But for whatever reason, I'm having trouble wrapping my heart around this, as if I am going through the motions.
But, I'm feeling good. We are going to start getting stuff ready for the baby's room starting June 1st (once we are in our third trimester). The room is already painted a rose color, and so we are not going to change it. It was my scrapbook room, but I guess this serves me right for never really getting it organized and never finding the time to scrapbook!
My next appointment is May 9th, and I have to do my gestational diabetes test.
Keeping my fingers crossed on that one! I'm still down about 9 pounds from when I found out I was pregnant at the 9-week mark, but it's only because I don' t really like the taste of chocolate anymore (outside of chocolate milk or ice cream) and because I feel like I have a lap band placed around my stomach! I've become a fruit-a-holic, which is a good thing, I guess.
For fun, I put together one of those Due Date Guesses polls. I never had the chance to do anything like this with E and A, so if you want to humor me, just click the box on the upper left. Remember, we KNOW it is a girl :)

I think as you get further along your excitement will grow. ITA that it figures you'd have to sacrifice your scrapbook room that you don't use much though you got it organized. Murphy's Law! Hope your gestational diabetes test goes well!
